Tour Description

This tour is suitable for travelers who wants see everything on safari, from the animals, landscapes, lakes, forest, rivers, and etc. that are why we include all four major parks in northern tourism circuit which offers different experiences.

You'll be collected from the airport.
• Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
On arrival we will pick you up at Julius Nyerere international airport and transfer you to Serena Hotel for your overnight and briefings. Depends on your arrival time you might be able to go for city tour around Dar es Salaam city at no extra cost if you arrive early.
After breakfast, we will depart for Nyerere National Park; the journey will take about 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge and have some rest before going on a boat safari along the Great Rufiji River. Expect to see some wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and a lot of bird species. After the boat ride, we will take you back to the lodge for the night.
Today you will enjoy a full-day game drive inside the park with a bush lunch. Compared to the northern circuit, here there is no congestion of vehicles, so you will be able to see a lot of wild animals in action, and if you are lucky, today is the day you can witness all the big five games (elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions, and leopards). After a satisfactory game drive we will take you to the lodge for overnight.
After breakfast at the lodge, we will start driving toward the north of the reserve to Mikumi National Park with a picnic lunch. On your arrival in Mikumi, continue with the game drive until the evening, and we will take you to the lodge for the night. Mikumi National Park offers an amazing game viewing experience that starts just a few minutes from the park entrance gate.
Best Time To Visit June to October, December to February (Animals are attracted to the waterholes)
Enjoy your full day in Mikumi; although Mikumi is rich in varied species of animals and birds, it receives fewer visitors annually compared to its counterpart in northern Tanzania. While on a game drive, you can see animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, elephants, zebras, and varied species of antelope. Mikumi has been recorded to have over 400 species of birds. After the satisfactory game drive we will take you back to the lodge for overnight.
After breakfast, we will go for a 1-hour walking safari or visit a Masai village just outside the park, which is included in the price, then depart for Dar es Salaam for drop-off. It depends on your plans; we may drop you off at the airport or at the lodge in Dar es Salaam. At the end of this tour, you may add an extension to Zanzibar for extra costs.
