Tour Description

This package is best for those who want to have the flavor of Africa, learning the history and ways of life of local people while enjoying their safari; it also gives you best chance to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration all year round as you will visit both parts of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem which is home to the annual wildebeest migration where 2.5 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelles follow the rains in search of new grass; they make their way from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara somewhere around July and August, and usually arrive in September. The crossing of the Mara River along the way is one of the highlights of this spectacular event.

On this day you will be picked up early in the morning around 7.00 am from your hotel in Nairobi and start driving towards Masai Mara national reserve for afternoon game drive till evening.
We will start with morning drive as it is the best time to witness the actions in the wild as to many predators morning is one of their favorite times to hunt, and it is good time for herbivores to forage as well. Then in the afternoon you will have picnic lunch for like one hour then start the afternoon game drive to explore more about the park.
The journey will begins early in the morning with a transfer game drive towards Serengeti-Masai Mara border. After finishing the formalities at the border we will start an introductory game drive in Serengeti till evening
On this day you will be amazed how vast Serengeti is because you will spend a whole day in the endless plains have the game drive from the northern part of the part up to the heart of Serengeti (Seronera).
Note; on this day you may add hot air balloon experience for extra cost to spice up your experience as it gives you chance to explore the park from the sky. For this activity you have to book and pay us before the trip.
On this day we will be leaving the beautiful Serengeti early in the morning and start an en-route game drive towards the UNESCO world heritage site where man and lion co-exist. At Ngorongoro highlands will continue with game drive to Olduvai Gorge museum to learn about the discovery of first human being theParanthropus boisei discovered by Mary Leakey in 1959. After lunch we will proceed with the game drive till evening if possible visiting shifting sand.
Around 9:00 am will be at the Crater rim and start descend 600m to the floor of the world largest unbroken caldera for the game drive till afternoon the having final afternoon game drive, then afterward we will drive to mto wa mbu for overnight.
This is day you will be immersed to the experience of African culture by having half day cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu village where it has the mix of more than 100 tribes many of them very read with kind heart to showcase their way of life.
